I firmly support public school education as the foundation for a brighter future for our children. Education is the key to unlocking opportunities, and I believe that every child, regardless of their background or zip code, deserves access to a quality education. Public schools are essential in fostering equal opportunities, preparing students for success, and strengthening our communities. I will stand up for schools in District 2, ensuring they receive the resources they need to thrive.

I am against education vouchers, as they divert critical funding away from public schools, ultimately weakening the system. Vouchers do not address the root problems within our education system, such as underfunding, overcrowded classrooms, and lack of resources. I believe in investing in our public schools, so every child can have a strong education that prepares them for the future.
