Expanding Medicaid is a top priority in my campaign, as I believe every Texan deserves access to affordable healthcare. Many families in District 2 struggle to access necessary medical care because they do not qualify for existing programs or cannot afford private insurance. Expanding Medicaid will provide crucial health coverage to low-income individuals and families, helping to improve overall health outcomes.

Expanding Medicaid is not just a moral imperative; it is also a practical solution to reduce the financial burden on our hospitals and emergency services. By providing coverage to more people, we can reduce the number of uninsured individuals, lower healthcare costs for everyone, and ensure that all Texans have access to the care they need to lead healthy, productive lives.
